Consumer Decision Intelligence

Retailers have intelligence.
Now you do too.

Everyone is building intelligence to help retailers sell better. We’re building intelligence to help consumers choose better.

SYMPRY is a Consumer Decision Intelligence ecosystem centred on you and your decisions. It brings Consumer Decision Intelligence to your side — helping you understand whether a purchase makes sense for you, before the transaction.

The missing layer

One shopper.
Many channels.
One clearer picture.

Save a product from a store, a website or social discovery. Review its details, then bring it into your cross-retailer Smart Cart when you choose.

See. Capture. Verify. Understand. Decide. Remember. Re-evaluate.
How it works

Start with one item.

You do not need to set everything up. Add context at your own pace.

01

SEE

Notice something that catches your eye — in a store, online or through social discovery.

02

CAPTURE

Save a link, photo or screenshot. Review its details and bring it into your cross-retailer Smart Cart.

03

VERIFY

Check the evidence behind prices, offers, sellers and reviews with Trust. See what is supported and what remains uncertain.

Being implemented in our prototype.

04

UNDERSTAND

Connect the product and its price with what you own, your goals and relevant past decisions.

05

DECIDE

Choose BUY, WAIT or SKIP. Understand the signals, then decide on your terms.

06

REMEMBER

Keep the decision, not just the purchase. Save BUY, WAIT and SKIP choices, with the reasons you choose to record.

07

RE-EVALUATE

Return when the price, your needs or your context changes. Your earlier choice is useful context, never a rule.

SEE → CAPTURE → VERIFY → UNDERSTAND → DECIDE → REMEMBER → RE-EVALUATE

Consumer intelligence

One item. Your whole context.

See available signals together, with reasons you can understand. Missing information stays missing.

Smart Cart

Bring items from different stores into one view. Compare what you are considering before choosing.

Price Intelligence

Review available retailer prices and recorded changes where data exists.

What You Own / Wardrobe

See potential similarities with items you already own, when you choose to add them.

Goals / Dream Goals

Keep everyday intentions and bigger dreams visible when you consider an item. Your goals add context to the choice.

Your choice, your pace

BUY / WAIT / SKIP

Three equally valid choices. BUY records an intention, without making a purchase. WAIT keeps an item to reconsider. SKIP records a choice not to proceed.

BUYWAITSKIP

Decision Memory keeps these choices and any reasons you record, so you can revisit them later. The best decision is always yours.

Decision Memory

Keep the decision,
not just the purchase.

A purchase tells you what you bought. Decision Memory also keeps what you waited on and what you skipped — together with the reasons you choose to record.

BUY, WAIT and SKIP decisions can become useful context for future decisions. Revisit a choice when something changes, understand what mattered then, and decide what matters now.

The best decision is always yours.

BUY · Remember what mattered

Keep the context behind your choice, so it can inform the next one.

WAIT · Return with fresh context

Reconsider when the price, your needs or your circumstances change.

SKIP · Keep what you learned

A choice not to buy can be as useful to remember as a purchase.

Your wardrobe.
Your advantage.

Could something you own already meet the same need? Add a few items to your Wardrobe and see potential similarities before another purchase.

What matters to you also belongs in the picture. Goals / Dream Goals connect what you are considering with the life you want to build, at your own pace.

Susana PratesFounder · SYMPRY

“The problem is not only how much money we have, but how we make decisions at the moment of purchase.”

SYMPRY began with a simple conviction: consumers deserve intelligence before a purchase — not only a record of what happened afterwards. The product is built around autonomy, evidence and decisions without judgement.

Susana Prates is an international marketing and communications leader with more than 20 years of experience across global brands, live events, technology and place-based innovation. She led global communications for the Red Bull Air Race World Championship, headed media at Red Bull Portugal and directs marketing and communications for the aviation and innovation ecosystem in Ponte de Sor. Her work has spanned Europe, the United States, the Middle East, Asia and Latin America. She holds an MBA in Business Administration and e-Business and a degree in Public Relations and Advertising.

“I do not want to teach people to spend less. I want to build technology that helps them decide better.”
